Terms of Use

Welcome to White Glove Accounting. These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and TaDa Accounting, a California firm doing business as White Glove Accounting ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. We Are a Bookkeeping Firm — Not a CPA Firm or Tax Preparer

White Glove Accounting provides bookkeeping and related administrative services to businesses and individuals. We are not a licensed CPA firm, a public accountancy firm, a registered tax preparer, a law firm, or a government agency. We do not perform audit, attest, or assurance engagements; we do not prepare or file income tax returns; and we do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Those services are reserved for licensed or registered professionals. We prepare financial statements from records provided by the client and hand off clean, reconciled books to the CPA, enrolled agent, or tax preparer of your choosing.

Specifically, and without limitation, we do not:

Preparation and filing of sales and city tax returns and preparation and e-filing of Form 1099 information returns are within our scope and are not income tax return preparation. We perform those as a bookkeeping function using records you provide.

2. Scope of Services

Our scope is bookkeeping: transaction categorization, monthly close, bank and credit-card reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, sales tax and city tax return preparation and filing, 1099 preparation and e-filing, financial statement preparation from client-provided records, and QuickBooks setup, cleanup, and migration. Anything outside that scope is referred out.

Financial statements are prepared from records the client provides. The client remains responsible for the completeness and accuracy of those records and for all filings made in the client's name.

Nothing on this site constitutes tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and nothing here creates a professional-client relationship. Consult a qualified, licensed professional for guidance specific to your situation.

Filing deadlines, penalties, nexus determinations, and the acceptance of any return or record are determined solely by the applicable taxing authorities and by your own licensed professionals. Requirements change and vary by jurisdiction; outcomes, timelines, and savings are not guaranteed and will differ by client.

4. Third-Party Services and Trademarks

We may reference or connect you to third-party services (for example accounting platforms, payroll providers, website hosts, and email providers). We are not responsible for third-party actions or terms. Any interaction with external vendors is at your own discretion.

Third-party names, logos, and trademarks — including Intuit and QuickBooks and QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Gusto, Bill.com, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and the California Franchise Tax Board — are the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification only. Their use does not imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or certification. White Glove Accounting is an independent firm.

5. Privacy

Your use of this site is governed by our Privacy Policy. California residents should also review our CPRA notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All site content including graphics, layouts, copy, and logos is the property of White Glove Accounting and may not be copied or redistributed without written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of this site or our services. This includes, but is not limited to:

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless White Glove Accounting, its owners, and partners from any claim arising out of your use of the site, the records you provide, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be modified at any time. Updates will be posted here and effective immediately. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. SMS Terms and Conditions

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS updates related to consultations, onboarding, or account support.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out anytime by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

Fees and Support

We do not charge for SMS, but your carrier may apply standard rates. For help, email us at support@whitegloveaccounting.com.

SMS Privacy

SMS data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. TaDa Accounting is organized and operating under the laws of the State of California, and venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in California.
